February 26-28, 2021. SO THE CONFERENCE GOES ON.

It says February and that seems so far away. NOT! We are looking at the holidays now. Oh my goodness. I will say, this whole covid thing (I refuse to capitalize the word covid and give it any sort of power. - lol). Anyway, this covid thing has just snatched away a full calendar of months from us. It's messed up our time frames for everything, even the hours in the day. So when I look at the calendar and see November on the horizon, I get a little freaked out.

Having said that, we have contests for you to participate in. Our Sparrow Award is open and waiting on your entries. This is for a work-in-progress or completed UNPUBLISHED work. We have amazing judges who are all well-published authors and headed up by our own sweet Sarah Loudin Thomas (quite the decorated author herself and very well-published by Bethany House.) Sarah does a wonderful job so skip on over to the link listed and check out our Sparrow Award.

Also, we have mentoring - One on one - private 1-hour sessions with the mentor of your choice. Larry Leech, Linda Gilden, Yvonne Lehman, Eddie Jones, LaTan Murphy, Les Stobbe, Edie Melson are all on board as amazing mentors. This is something you don't want to miss out on. For a small additional fee, you get your work privately looked at and time that is more valuable than gold to help you move your work or ministry forward. Also available are paid 15-minute critiques. These 15-minute critiques are well worth your time. For fast help and suggestions to smooth out your work, this is the thing for you. So zip over the mentoring and critique page for additional information.

WE ARE GOING LIVE!
We are so excited to live stream this conference in conjunction with the Cove. It is all still in the planning but currently, we are looking to live stream all day Saturday and Saturday evening. You'll get the keynotes and the classes for that day. AND we working to secure videos for the second track of teaching. Our plan and prayers are that we are able to record the second track and have those available for download after the conference so conferees can get the entire conference. The other news...MP3s. We know some folks still enjoy having the MP3s and we are working to provide those as well. If you register for the IN-PERSON conference (either staying at the Cove or at a hotel at the foot of the Cove) and join us AT THE COVE, you'll still get access to the videos. We are doing our best to provide this as a treat and a thank you for stepping out on faith and attending.

If you don't want to attend face to face, visit our registration page and sign up for the live stream. For $140 (this includes the Pay Pal charge) you will receive the MP3s, the 2nd track of videos, and also links to the live stream recordings after the conference. Please join us.

A SPECIAL DEAL...If you are a conferee and signed up to attend the in-person conference when you get a friend to register and tell us that you sent them, we'll take off $10 from your registration. But it gets better, if you get 2 folks to sign up and register, we'll take off $20. **Note, conferee must be registered and paid.

NOW FOR THOSE WHO HAVE RECEIVED INVOICES FOR PAYMENT - This is the nuts and bolts of it. If we do not receive at least 1/2 payment by end of this month, the Cove will begin taking rooms away from us. Without your payment of at least 1/2, you will lose your on-campus room. So if you haven't paid AT LEAST 1/2 - then you are in danger of losing your room. If you paid $25 at the 2020 conference it holds a spot for you and gives you first dibs at on-campus housing. We credit that $25 to your total bill so you never lose your money. BUT, it does not hold your room past the end of November. We are required to make payment and without your payment, we cannot secure your room. SO HEADS UP!

Once again - CONTESTS ARE UP AND RUNNING! We hope you will participate.

We are working on the class schedule now. Hopefully, we will have this up on the site very soon.

We look forward to seeing you come February. I will be sending another newsletter by end of November and then December 1 becomes CRUNCH TIME.
