2026 CONFERENCE REGISTRATION
IS OPEN
WE ARE AN IN-PERSON CONFERENCE ONLY!
Welcome to our registration page for the Asheville Christian Writers Conference.
Special Note From The Cove: We welcome service animals that meet the criteria of the Americans with Disabilities Act , but must be approved prior to arrival. Please call 828-298-2092 for the Training Center Manager (Deric Skeen) before registering for the conference.

SPECIAL NOTE: OUR CONFERENCE IS IN PERSON ONLY.
**It is important to remember the Cove charges us PER PERSON. If two people are in a room, each person must register and pay. When you choose your checkout, you will be able to choose how many are in a room – 1 or 2, and you can pay accordingly. Husbands and wives, choose 2 (Spouses must register for the conference. A spouse CANNOT stay on-campus unless they are an attending conferee. This deals with the Cove’s 501C3 Non-profit status.) We will contact you for the second person’s information. For individuals rooming together, choose one unless you plan to pay for both you and your roommate.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
ACWC is held in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Weather is something we cannot predict, and since our conference is a winter conference, if you are uncomfortable with February travel, we suggest you consider travel insurance. We have yet to be snowed out, but you must realize ACWC continues, regardless of the weather. We do not refund due to bad weather. If you fear that snow could be an issue, you might consider purchasing travel insurance on your own. Vetting coverages is the responsibility of the conferee. ACWC cannot refund conference registrations due to the weather. ACWC is under contract with the Cove, and registrations must be paid and are non-refundable after December 31.
Should you choose travel insurance, you must check out the exact coverages with the company of your choice. The Asheville Christian Writers Conference is not responsible for travel insurance costs, rules, or variations. We are not responsible for the return of conference fees due to the weather.

The Cove’s Policy on Children
The Cove is a Christian Adult Retreat Center meant for personal restoration and conferences. Children under the age of 18 are not permitted to stay on campus. Personal retreats and additional conferences are running alongside ACWC. Please respect this policy. Of course, there is an exception to every rule. Teens, age 16 and over, are permitted to attend ACWC, but only with an adult registered for the conference. The paying adult must attend all conference activities with their teen. Teens are not allowed outside the parameters of the conference. If you have a teen who wishes to attend ACWC, please contact Cindy so she can secure the proper permissions for this attendee. The rate is the same as in an adult.
Please do not ask us about bringing your children. It will only force us to say no.
Unfortunately, ACWC cannot be used for family accommodations during our conference. The hotels are located at the entrance of the Cove where families can stay and then enjoy a long weekend in beautiful Asheville. All individuals must be registered and attend the conference in order to stay on the premises of the Cove. (This is not us, this is the non-profit status requirements for The Cove.) We ask you to respect that and not put us in a position to say no.
The Cove’s Policy on Room Sharing
Hotel Double and Single room Accommodations guidelines for couples (man and woman sharing a room) state that they must be married. A double room does not accommodate two married couples.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations can be made prior to January 1 with a full reimbursement. Cancellations after January 1 are non-refundable.
