When you choose your checkout, you can select how many are in a room – 1 or 2- and pay accordingly. Husbands and wives must register as a Double Occupancy (Spouses must register for the conference. A spouse CANNOT stay on-campus unless they are an attending conferee. This deals with the Cove’s 501C3 Non-profit status.) For individual rooming with a friend. Each person must register as a double occupancy, then send an email to [email protected] to let us know who your roommate will be.

OUR 2027 RATES
Registration will open on June 14
Please note: Christian Devotions is using Zeffy.com for registrations due to rising credit card fees. Zeffy is funded by donations from those who choose to register for our conference. When you check out, you will see a credit card usage fee and just below it a drop-down box where you can choose to add more to the fee, or you can choose other and donate any amount. Zeffy is free to non-profits, but this is free only because folks who register give that donation. We are grateful as a ministry that Zeffy has agreed to represent us. Our hope is that if you choose not to pay the full suggested donation, you will still donate at least $30 to Zeffy.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
ACWC is held in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The weather is something we cannot predict, and since our conference is held in February, we suggest considering travel insurance if you are uncomfortable with winter travel. We have yet to be snowed out, but please note that ACWC continues, regardless of the weather. We do not refund due to bad weather. If you fear that snow could be an issue, you might consider purchasing travel insurance on your own. Vetting coverages is NOT the responsibility of the conference. ACWC cannot refund conference registrations due to the weather. ACWC is under contract with the Cove, and registrations must be paid and are non-refundable after December 31.
Should you choose to purchase travel insurance, please verify the exact coverage with the company of your choice. The Asheville Christian Writers Conference is not responsible for travel insurance costs, rules, or variations. We are not responsible for the return of conference fees due to the weather.

The Cove’s Policy on Children
The Cove is a Christian adult retreat center designed for personal restoration and conferences. Children under the age of 18 are not permitted to stay on campus. Personal retreats and additional conferences are running alongside ACWC. Please respect this policy. Of course, there is an exception to every rule. Teens aged 16 and over are permitted to attend ACWC, but only with an adult registered for the conference. The paying adult must accompany their teen to all conference activities. Teens are not allowed outside the designated conference area. If you have a teen who wishes to attend ACWC, please contact Cindy so she can secure the proper permissions for this attendee. The rate is the same as in an adult.
Please do not ask us about bringing your children. It will only force us to say no.
Unfortunately, ACWC cannot be used for family accommodations during our conference. The hotels are located at the entrance of the Cove, where families can stay and then enjoy a long weekend in the beautiful city of Asheville. All individuals must be registered and attend the conference to remain on the premises of the Cove. (This is not us; this is the non-profit status requirements for The Cove.) We ask that you respect this and refrain from putting us in a position where we have to say no.
The Cove’s Policy on Room Sharing
Hotel Double and Single room Accommodations guidelines for couples (husband and wife – a man and woman sharing a room) state that they must be married. A double room does not accommodate two married couples. With special permission, a parent and child (of appropriate age) may share a room. If you need to share a room with a teen or adult child, please contact [email protected] so the appropriate arrangements can be made.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations can be made prior to January 1 for a full refund. Absolutely no cancellation refunds after January 1. A cancellation fee of $250 will be charged.
