February 17, Newsletter Update

LAST WEEK! AAAHHHHH!

Well, my office looks like a hoarder lives here. It always does right before the conference. I've gotten the iPad charged (Andrea, can you bring yours again, just in case). Bennie, Kevin, and Wendy are ready for books to pour in, and Terri and I are sorta looking weird with our eyes rolling back in our heads. LOL. The week before conference time is always busssssyyyy! But we are all excited! I have tons of work to do and what am I doing...ask Billy. I sent him two versions of lyrics to look at. I should be working. The writer must write, even if it's something we aren't very good at. So, I'm trying to learn to write lyrics. (FYI - Billy said I was wordy - LOL)

This brings me to final details - the REMEMBER TO DO THIS LIST:

*REMEMBER: to check the Conference Update page for any last minute updates.
*Remember to leave your bags in the car at check-in. Or if you absolutely can't wait to bring them in. You can park them in the lobby at Shepherds Inn. We are the only conference at the Cove during the weekend.
*Remember to print anything you need printed before you leave home. We cannot print at the Cove.
*Remember to bring yourself a cup with a lid so you can refill it throughout the day and evening from one of the drink stations
*Remember to wear your badge at all times.
*Remember to make yourself some business cards with your email and website so you can give those out. You don't have to have fancy cards at our conference. We only want you to have something to exchange with one another for peers - the class of 2024.
*Remember to bring a notebook. Some folks like taking notes on their computer, that's fine too.
*Remember to purchase the MP3s so you have the conference forever. It's great continued training.
*Remember to plan to donate to our BOB BOX. This is our mission of giving back. We are a benevolent ministry, so we do our best to be the hands and feet of Christ.
*Remember to visit our Bookstore and plan to take home a couple or twenty books.
*Remember the Early Bird classes start at 1 p.m. on Friday. You do not have to sign up for these classes. Our meeting rooms are back to back in location. So if the early bird class you want is in the back room, pretend you are in OZ and go through the curtains at the front of the room. The second room is directly behind the one you enter.
*Remember to spend time praying over this conference for good weather. It should be sunny and cool. No snow expected. Maybe some evening showers. Pray for safe travel, for open hearts and minds. Pray for our faculty and for each conferee.
*Remember to bring a smiling face and a good attitude. We love laughter. Bring it with you.
*Remember, you were prayed for, for a full year.
